About Adam Hardaker

Adam Hardaker is a Liverpool based Evertonian, Supported Living Manager, Manchester People’s Champion Award Winner (2024) and most importantly Husband to Michelle and proud Father to 4 Sons and one crazy Daschound (George, Oliver, Charles, Henry and Rupert the Pup).

Adam writes stories rooted in resilience, community and hope. His debut novel The Seat Left Empty blends football culture with love, grief and memory, capturing the rituals that tie us together.

His follow up, Joe: One Moment at a Time draws on personal and lived experience in Supported Living, celebrating difference, inclusion and the strength of seeing the world in unique ways.

Adam is currently working on the first section of his third project, The Hollows - The Theatre of Madness - a gothic historical fiction set in a mythic Liverpool Asylum, exploring themes of power, silence and survival.

When he’s not writing, Adam is championing disability rights, spending time with his family or following Everton through the best and worst of time.
